For those of you that need a humorous reminder of what Socialism would look like in America, I submit one of my favorite episodes of “3rd Rock From The Sun.” The cast plays aliens, learning about the earth, and they live in the USA. They’re like children doing reconnaissance. Continue reading Humorous Reminder of the Path to Socialism
The media, Democrats, and Republications have taken these recent mass shootings as an opportunity to coerce the public into adopting their opinions for the next voting cycle. Republicans blame gaming and mental health issues, and Democrats blame gun laws. The biggest travesty is that the media toggles to and fro whoring for readers when truth and introspection are needed more now than ever.
The truth is more complicated because those creating this havoc reflect America’s disenfranchised and disconnected youth. Most of us are aware that mental illness comes into play but do we want to forget the critical points necessary to resolve this problem by neglecting technological advances in warfare that are now in the hands of our youth?
Socialism has different faces, and each one has been twisted and recreated to suit whichever party, country, or individual is looking to promote it to its citizens. Depending on which state or media propaganda you’re reading, the term can mask fascism, communism, or imperialism. Unfortunately, in the history of the world, the term Socialism rarely turns out to be true to itself.
During the time of the Soviet Socialist Republic, the brand of Socialism was a form of communism. A world of state-owned property. Forced labor was thrust upon the citizens as if they were living in a hive. Citizens were not permitted to leave their country without the approval of the government. The USSR was the enemy, and its existence was 190 degrees opposite of that of the United States. For many citizens today, the memories of that time are very fresh.
In reference to the BBC article below: It’s time to take note of one of your greatest orators’ interpretations of an old metaphor. “Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last. All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured. But I fear greatly that the storm will not pass. Read MoreContinue reading BBC being, well BBC. (June 7, 2020)
I’ve never liked malls. I remember the day I went to my first one. I felt as if it were in a cookie-cutter box. Everyone else was raving about it, and as an 11-year-old, I should have just chimed right in to join the crowd. I didn’t. It felt empty to me. No soul.
Today the malls are disappearing rapidly. I shouldn’t care because I think they’ve raped the world of beauty and individuality. They’ve changed the face of many countries’ ethnicities and coerced them into sameness. Sameness is the death of originality, and I’ll argue that it is the beginning of tyranny. No matter where or when you look back on your young life, I’m sure the most traumatic part is when a large group of sameness starts picking on the difference. (Let’s get this straight, the word ethnicity applies to EVERYONE. No person is NOT part of an ethnic group.) What I am saying is that malls are disappearing, and oddly enough, I am not happy. Why? It’s because I don’t know what’s replacing them, and who is behind the replacement, and what these individuals see as beauty in humanity.
A few weeks back, I was listening to a public radio station discussing Facebook’s ascent into a media organization from a social platform. It said a video supplied by a cell phone in Mexico was of gruesome murders on Facebook. Instead of censoring the horrible acts of violence, Facebook decided to show it. It brought about an overall understanding of the terrible drug and gang problems in Mexico and the border facing the US, and it probably saved lives. Unfortunately, because it remained posted, Facebook has been treated as a media organization. That’s how they described it on the public radio talk show.
As I watch and listen to the news stations attempting to slaughter Mark Zuckerberg, via bullying advertisers to leave the platform, I have to ask some questions because I value fairness above all. (I know; generally, life isn’t fair. But I say we can try our best to make it that way.) So here are a few of my questions.
I’m always amazed at the security at the Oscars. In my eyes, the beautiful mortal people don’t hold a candle to the eternal gems they wear. The gems will be displayed a thousand years from now, and the wearer might be mentioned in a footnote if they’re lucky. Each celebrity has a guard watching out for the gems. I wonder if the person matters as much as the gems to them.
On that note, these gems appear to be more critical than our National Capital and its representatives. Why do I say this? Insurance companies seem to take more care and interest in their preservation. We do the same for our national information. Technology Security certifications have names and hierarchies associated with the level of access an individual can observe or manipulate. All hell rains down should it be breached. In fact, It’s a common thread throughout the U.S. Government.
I’m not a constitutional lawyer, but I could argue the following: If the domestic insurgency in Seattle has decided to name its conquest CHAZ and asks for the identification of those who enter and leave, it’s fair to call them secessionists. As a secessionist location surrounded by the United States, they must wait for their turn for an executive audience. Just like any other foreign Read MoreContinue reading Combative Enemy? First, Fauci is a scientist. His job is to give everyone the scientific facts on what needs to occur to irradicate this Covid-19 virus. NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS. He must suggest a scientist’s perfect world of remediations that should take place during this pandemic. Sometimes they will be lofty, but that is all he’s meant to do!
